Admissions Process

Welcome to St. Theresa Catholic School in Memorial Park!  We are very excited that you are interested in joining our school community.

We are now accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year!

• The application deadline to be considered in our first round of decisions is Friday, January 31, 2025 (completed application file, including all supporting documentation).  
• We WILL continue to accept applications beyond that deadline, so long as there is space in the grade.

At the time the application is made, each student seeking admission must provide the following:

• Completed Online Application
• Non-refundable application fee of $125 per applicant
• Copy of Original Birth Certificate (Please bring original to assessment)
  • entering Pre-K 3 - Child must be 3 years old on or before September 1 and toilet trained
  • entering Pre-K 4 - Child must be 4 years old on or before September 1 and toilet trained
  • entering Kindergarten - Child must be 5 years old on or before September 1
• Baptismal Certificate, if applicable
• First Communion Certificate, if applicable
• Immunization Records
• Current and Previous Year-Ending Report Card (for Elementary School and Jr. High applicants)
• Standardized Test Results (for Elementary School and Jr. High applicants)
• Signed Release of Records Form (for Elementary School and Jr. High applicants only)
• Teacher Recommendation Form (form is to be submitted by student's current school) 

Students seeking admission must also complete an assessment that will be scheduled after the application has been submitted.  A non-refundable testing fee of $50 will be collected at the time of the assessment:

Early Childhood Round Up Interview
Applicants for PK3, PK4, and Kindergarten will be asked to attend an Early Childhood Round-up Interview in February.  The Round-Up will include formal and informal assessments of various early childhood skills such as fine and gross motor, number and letter awareness, and social and self-help skills.  Assessments for applications received after the first-round deadline will be individually scheduled.

Admissions Testing and Shadow Visit
Students applying for Elementary School and Jr. High are required to visit our school. After completing the application file, applicants will participate in an individually scheduled shadow visit.  This visit gives your child an opportunity to experience our community for a day. Applicants will be paired up with a “Viking Buddy” to help them maneuver through their day. This visit also gives St. Theresa the opportunity to meet your child and to get to know them in our school setting.  During your child's visit we will administer an assessment test.
